This layer in the mobiderm bandaging system, helps with the containment of edema, as well as drainage for physical activity (high working pressure).

4 Stage Mobiderm Bandaging System:

  1. PROTECT the skin: PROTECTIVE COTTON BANDAGE
    In direct contact with the skin, this tubular cotton bandage provides tight containment of the limb. Made of cotton, it provides soft* and lined protection of the skin weakened by the lymphedema.
  2. MOBILIZE the edema: MOBIDERM BANDAGE
    Used under a reducing bandage, the Mobiderm technology mobilizes edematous or indurated subcutaneous tissue.

  3. CONTAIN the edema: BIFLEXIDEAL SHORT-STRETCH BANDAGE

  4. COMPRESS the edema: BIFLEX LONG GRADUATED BANDAGE
    A medium-stretch bandage as last layer applies constant pressure, even at rest.
    BIFLEX 16+ (light) is recommended for mild to moderate lymphedema.
    BIFLEX 17+ (strong) is recommended for moderate to severe lymphedema.
