The last and final layer to the Mobiderm Bandaging System, a long stretch bandage that applies constant pressure, even at rest.
Easy to apply with guided rectangle to square indicators imprinted on the bandages, to get that perfect pressure gradient every time.
Available in 2 strengths:
BIFLEX 16+ (light/medium) will feel more comfortable and will extends further up the limb, great for larger immobile limbs, or for mild to moderate lymphoedema
BIFLEX 17+ (strong) recommended for moderate to severe lymphedema
4 Stage Mobiderm Bandaging System:
- PROTECT the skin: PROTECTIVE COTTON BANDAGE
In direct contact with the skin, this tubular cotton bandage provides tight containment of the limb. Made of cotton, it provides soft and lined protection of the skin weakened by the lymphedema.
- MOBILIZE the edema: MOBIDERM BANDAGE
Used under a reducing bandage, the Mobiderm technology mobilizes edematous or indurated subcutaneous tissue.
- CONTAIN the edema: BIFLEXIDEAL SHORT-STRETCH BANDAGE
A short-stretch bandage as the third layer helps with containment of the edema, as well as drainage in case of physical activity. (high working pressure) - COMPRESS the edema: BIFLEX LONG GRADUATED BANDAGE
